We are Bloggers!

Well, finally, we are now in the world of the blog. After admiring Mike and Kat's, then Mom's, then Tom's, I decided it was time for the Goulds to have one too. I have a minute while both babies are sleeping (rare that happens at the same time) and Sophie is playing at Nate's house.

I picked the name from a comment I made to Terry before the arrival of the twins. Coming from a basketball family (not that I was ever any good, but hey, we all have our talents) I made reference to the fact that going from one child to three was very much like going from a 2 on 1 defense to a zone coverage. And so it has been. There is never a day that I don't feel pulled in a million directions, and maybe this is the case for all parents when another child, or two is added. Luckily, Sophie has been very good with the adjustment, and finds it a game when I ask her to bring me a bottle, diaper, bib, etc. Every day I am thankful that she is 4 and very capable of dressing herself, and keeping herself entertained with her various make believe games. Although she does have her moments. The other day she told me that she wished we had only had one baby. When I asked her who would she give up, Michael or Emily, she thought for a minute, then said "Oh well, I like them both, so I guess we can keep them both." My thoughts exactly!

Very nice blog. This is actually my first visit to a blog, so you should feel honored.

Just wait until the twins get older and see how they interact with thier big sister. Yesterday, Leanne was playing ring around the rosie with Jacob and he thought it was so funny. Today, Will was playing hide and seek with her. When I told him to hide, he always went under the dining room table. Very cute.

Can't wait to hear more.

Sharon, Thanks for being my first comment poster! And how appropriate, since you are a mom of twins as well. Your encouragement always means so much!
